Trail Rides at Cottonwood Creek Ranch

Our trail rides are typically 2-3 hours in length and boast beautiful views from across our working ranch. Guests have the opportunity to ride on all different types of terrain from open prairie to hilly wooded areas and along stream beds.

$100 per person/horse. Price includes tack and equipment. Tips are appreciated for great guides! 

Guests must wear close toed shoes and long pants while riding. We recommend being prepared with layers as the weather can change quickly in Wyoming. We don't recommend leggings or other slick pants as you may slide around in the saddle. No baggy clothing is permitted as it may get caught on your horse's tack or in the trees along the ride. Please let your guide know ahead of time if there are any items you plan to bring with you. Guides have final discretion on appropriate clothing and items being brought on the ride. Minors must wear a helmet.

Lessons are available upon request, and must be scheduled in advance. 

Working ranch days are seasonal and dependent upon what we have  going on.  If you are interested in participating in working ranch day please contact us. Prior horsemanship and riding skills are required.

All of our guests must sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any activities on the ranch.
